Veanne is an American filmmaker of Vietnamese and Chinese heritage.

Her father (pictured) worked as a video director in the 1990s. Surrounded by analog cameras, she spent her childhood shooting whimsical narratives. This led her to study film and media at the University of San Francisco, where she graduated summa cum laude.

Her films, ranging from dramas exploring the Asian diaspora to comedies inspired by life's absurdities, have screened at festivals worldwide.

In the agency space, she produces commercial and editorial content for brands and publications through Usine.

Veanne currently lives in Brooklyn with her partner and two shih-tzus.
